Pettibloggery: I'm Justin Humphreys, a writer, curator, film historian, memorabilia broker, cartoonist, and narrator. I didn't find writing--it found me. I've had two books of interviews and essays published, NAMES YOU NEVER REMEMBER, WITH FACES YOU NEVER FORGET and INTERVIEWS TOO SHOCKING TO PRINT! I have lectured on film and animation at universities, film festivals, and elsewhere. My work was quoted and cited in Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein: A Mel Brooks Book." I wrote and narrated a documentary for the Blu-Ray of Brian De Palma's SISTERS and recorded an audio commentary for the first Blu-Ray release of THE ABOMINABLE DR. PHIBES, part of the best-selling "Vincent Price Collection" set. I specialize in curatorial work involving rare and unique film, TV, and music memorabilia. I have catalogued and/or sold significant portions of the estates of Maureen O'Hara, Charlton Heston, George Pal, and others.
