On January 7th, actor Ron Thompson, he of the "poimanently puckehed" hands, finally got to take a bow for his bravura performances as Pete and Tony in Ralph Bakshi's AMERICAN POP. In the thirty-three years since the film's release, he had never been announced at a single screening of it, until that night. I moderated the Q & A with him at the Egyptian Theatre.
